Had an ex-military man shot and killed here in Escondido over a decade ago by police when he was backing up his truck in his apartment complex....didn't see the police car behind them and backed into them Officer shot thru the truck window and killed him. They left his dead and bleeding body handcuffed and on the pavement for hours while they tried to sort out how to explain it...in front of his wife, his child, and all others at the complex.
