That's the thing about reading the Bible. Why shouldn't he have an idea about that? The fact that you've read the Bible and interpreted it a certain way doesn't mean that you've got the "right" answer either, Sue. It is up to you what you believe and how you live your life, but it's just too Christian of you to say that only people who believe as you do have it right.I have met more people in church that knew nothing about their religion and did not follow it’s teaching than those that did.Churches and christians should not hate the LGBT's if they are true christians they will not yet Owl is the biggest bigoted hater that Christ is annoyed by on USMB.
I don't hate a single gay person. We have hosted gay people for dinner, we have gay family members. However that does not mean we endorse what they're doing or think gay marriage is acceptable. However that is true of many things, not just homosexuality.
One more thing. It is always, ALWAYS those who do not know Jesus at all who speak so freely for him. Those who don't really give a fig what He thinks are really free to tell others what He thinks about any old thing. Those of us who actually pray and read our Bibles--we don't go around telling people, "Jesus is annoyed by you." You know why? We're too busy dealing with the stuff Jesus would be annoyed with US for.
And that's the truth.
Who are you to tell anyone what "annoys" Jesus?
Millions have read it and never understand it.
Many think they understand it and feel they are doing God's will and couldn't be any more wrong.
The biggest criticisms of the scriptures are mostly directed at the Old Testament, which has little to do with Christianity.
People who don't understand Christianity are the biggest critics of the religion.
Many Catholics don't understand what Jesus taught.
They are usually some of the worst critics of Christianity.
