We are children of the day not children of the night. Of course we can discern the seasons and the times. We are entering the time of the Judgment of God falling upon America. We'll all be here to see it unless God decides to take some home before it falls. After if falls, it is too late. Before it falls is the time to repent and return to the Lord.

This refers to the generation of Israel becoming a nation again which was May 14, 1948. That is not 2,000 yrs, Alan. Do the math. ( keep in mind first the beast is revealed - then we await the introduction of the anti-christ and the other beast and it is 7 yrs from then as that is tribulation the prophets spoke of. Then comes the return of Jesus Christ with His saints.

Some believers believe in a rapture, some don't. It makes no difference to me either way. It is a doctrinal matter which is quite different from "the doctrine of Christ" which must be held to 100% and is why the Bereans used scripture to confirm every word Paul spoke. False doctrine is not to be tolerated. It is to be judged and then exposed.

Not sure what Bible you're using but my version of Matthew 24 says:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

before Jesus says: "Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place." Sounds to me like you're just making stuff up or someone gave you that interpretation. If so be warned:

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

I agree perilous times are coming, Gismy. When the anti-christ is revealed the clock starts ticking so we shall see. As for WWIII? I believe China has to take Taiwan first, with USA countering and then the Russian / China / w/ communist / arab allies - invasion. So with that said, I will tell you there is a time coming when the Lord will remind people who have mocked you and refused to come to him of this day. They will be in hell screaming and begging for another chance and Jesus is going to tell them, I sent my servants to warn you but you refused to listen. With that said, we need to be fully aware of how serious it is to be a laborer for Jesus Christ. It is very serious, Brother.
