There is no fundamental difference between Bernie's socialism and Huge's socialism. In both cases the answer to failed government policies is more government policies. As a result Venezuelans are fighting over toilet paper and onions. If Bernie (or Hillary) get elected we will be doing the same in about 20 years.

Lol, I am laughing. Most of Europe and even a large percentage of east asian countries have public education systems, tax payer paid roads and police. This has nothing to do with Hugo chavez, Castro, Stalin, Eagles, Marx or Leinin as it has been around since civilization developed around 9,000 years ago in one form or another. Baghdad around 800ad to 11 century ad and islamic spain from a few centuries later had public institutions of education. The Greeks used tax payer dollars to build infrastructure, invested in science and this also goes for Rome throughout its entire history. Every civilization this society was built on had a public sector and a government that didn't just sit back and watch its people be fucked. The closes thing to what you're suggesting is probably the Baron/surf system of Europe during the 11-through 16th centuries that pretty much allowed people that were more powerful to own and control the poorer parts of the population.

Most of europe has free education even through college, health care and a higher gdp then we do. How exactly can you equal this to what is going on under the marxist dictator of south America? No logical human being could and so your point is baseless.

Of course, I have a real political science education and you quite clearly DO NOT!

There is little difference between Sander's middle-of-the-road social democracy and FDR's program for saving you ungrateful capitalists [so-called "capitalists"].

The American people elected FDR four times by large majorities, during which the USA went from being an economic basketcase on the verge of revolution all the way to being King of the World.

But then, in the United States of Amnesia, no one remembers anything.

political science degrees are nothing more than proof that you are weak minded and were able to be brainwashed into a socialist way of thinking.

It is not the minimum government functions like police, defense, road building basic education etc that creates a bloated out of control debt ridden oppressive welfare state. It is redistribution of wealth and income which was the cornerstone of Chavez and Sanders' Marxist thinking.

The more capitalist US (until that asshole Obama was elected) had twice the economic post WWII growth as the more socialist European countries. We didn't get to be the most prosperous nation on earth by taking money away from those that earned it and given it to the welfare queens that didn't earn it but that is sure as hell is what is making us lose our wealth nowadays. Sanders will make it even worse.

Sanders has been a commie for many decades and you can put lipstick on a pig and claim it is not a pig but it is still a pig.

One thing of concern with good old Bernie is that he spent the first 40 years of his life fighting for income equality, yet, the whole time he was doing this he never had a job.
Maybe if he would have shifted his argument to labor equality, as in, we take an equal share in the labor of the country, his personal bottom line would have looked better
He never worked in his life, he was an unemployed bum until he won the election for mayor.

Did they teach you anything about the rise and fall of the Roman Empire or the latest problems in Greece?

These Libtards like Commie Sanders talk about income equality but they are the ones that causes the inequality.

Sanders enthusiastically supported President Shit for Brains in 2008 and 2012. Under Obama the gap between the rich and poor has widened and in addition poverty has increased and the welfare rolls have skyrocketed and the economic growth has been dismal.

These Libtards cause the problems with their failed Left economics of redistribution of wealth instead of capitalist growth and then they bitch about the consequences but then promises you that if you vote for them then they will fix the problems.

Sanders with his stupid socialism and Crooked Hillary with her progressive stupidity will cause even more destruction for this country.

A Real Political Science Education! Well Golllllleeeeee!

Clearly, you skipped any exposure to actual economic theory.

Venezuela has had a one trick pony economy based on oil. It's a more clear reductio ad absurdum socialist experiement as oil prices have collapsed. Europe has a more diverse economy, although it is headed in downward, just not at the steep trajectory followed by Venezuela. But the Radical Islam Imports are bound to help speed up the decline.

I won't disagree with that.

It just goes to show how successful he was. .... :eusa_whistle:

If you consider this a measure of success, good for you.

"World War II was the deadliest military conflict in history in absolute terms of total dead. Over 60 million people were killed, which was about 3% of the 1940 world population (est. 2.3 billion).[
