There are powerful moral arguments for helping the Syrian refugees–and we should do so. But there are also alternatives to mass resettlement in the West. And unless the root cause of the problem–the ongoing Syrian civil war, fueled by ISIS, Iran, and others–is addressed, the flood of refugees will continue.

Regardless, it is not bigotry to oppose the Obama administration’s current policy.
