It does here. You have to take a class and then go out to the gun range for a range test. Fail either part and you fail. You have to hit a 6" round target at 30 feet 100% of the time through 3 magazines. I had a .380 which made it sweet. You could not take the class with anything under a .25 cal handgun. I took the class with 2 other guys, both had .45's and failed the range test.

Not that I see where it makes a difference. If Obama had a son, he wouldn't look any of those in CA, maybe that is the difference.
