Trump administration foreign policy after the departure of John Bolton
Reaction from Hudson Institute's Brig. Gen. Robert Spalding and former chief of staff of the National Security Council Fred Fleitz.

ME: Trump is pretty solid and firm on his macro policy, but seems to take advice on the details of implementing it, so its important to see who will take Bolton's place. That choice alone will be telling.

At least 7 people are on list to replace John Bolton

So, according to your link the two leading candidates are both establishment people with deep ties to the government going back a decade or more.

Whats important is who he actually does end up picking.

It was your link.
Too funny, beat me to it. Didn't some guy last week that was being considered for the position call it a shit sandwich and laughed about taking the position? Can't remember his name.

Is there (ever) a point to your carping?

There always is. But one needs an IQ higher than their age to understand them, so you are just shit out of luck.
