If you still consider yourself a free man, living in a free country which government forbids you to travel where you want to go, then you certainly don't get the point.

You can always go to Cuba, the issue is would they let you back in. If you truly need to go to Cuba, you can stay there. hell you can go to Europe first, then go there, and then come back without much of a need for hard work or deception.

High and dry implies leaving people stranded on the land, here they will have to modify the cruise itinerary to either make it a "sea" day, or find another visitation port.
