Names like Kristi Noem and Kari Lake have been thrown around. Marjorie Taylor Greene is another possibility, though she is essentially a female version of Trump.

Tulsi Gabbard would be an out-of-the-box pick. She served as a Democratic congresswoman in Hawaii but often differed from the party view and now works for Fox News.

Tulsi would be an interesting choice that would certainly be news that the news could not ignore. Kristi Noem would be better in my opinion. Unlike the current WH Punch and Judy Show, Noem has actually been to the southern border even though her state almost borders Canada.

No matter who runs with Trump, the only questions that the mainstream media will ever ask will follow this formula: "Trump recently (or once) said _________________. Do you think that claim is good for _______________?"

Any running mate that Trump picks has to be willing to say this simple formula in answer to those questions: "I don't always have to agree with everything the president says or how he says it. I agree with the results that he gets simply by putting American first. We've had four years of America last, and look where it has gotten us."
