Trump Keeps Doubling Down On The Same Failed Strategy

From what I've seen, his approval numbers are going up, and quite fast at that.
Either Americans in greater numbers think the President is doing a better job, or they think the Democrats are doing a poor job.
His approval numbers are at historic lows, where did you get the idea they were going up?
Morning Joe on Friday. They may very well be low in total, but they are increasing, have been since the fiasco with the wall started.

Trump's approval rating by the GOP is 87%, that is higher than Obama and Clinton at this point of their presidency. The way the dems are being socialist, 2020 should be a cake walk for Trump. New Green Deal anyone? How about free healthcare and education? How about open borders and tear down the southern wall letting the flood gates to everyone in? Keep whining about his approval numbers, you'll see what happens in 2020, remember the 2016 race and Trump can't win?

Lol, no. They've been going down.

Trump does things which are wrong and stupid, and consequently unpopular.

Name a single "thing" Trump has done that wasn't wrong or stupid, or both. Anti-social, irresponsible, inhumane, hateful, divisive, detrimental to the nation's and the earth's well-being - you name it, it has Trump's goo all over it.

With that in mind, take a second look at your own assertion, and Trump's approval rating. For to me it appears, a significant portion of the electorate gets off on all things wrong, stupid, and hateful.

And that's why I don't think "consequently" and "unpopular" hold up under scrutiny.

“Trump does unpopular stuff, and he becomes more unpopular. The erosion mostly comes from independents because Republicans are highly loyal to him and Democrats are already almost uniformly opposed.

But Trump will need those independents to win re-election. He needed them to become president in the first place.

[…]

Or things could get a lot worse than that for Trump, and he could lose independents by a wider margin. In the 2018 midterms, Republicans lost independents by 12 percentage points, contributing to a 40-seat loss in the House. The key facet of the midterms is that turnout was very high, including among the Republican base. But it was also high among the Democratic base, and Republicans badly lost independents. The base alone isn’t enough to win national elections, especially for Republicans, since fewer voters identify as Republicans than as Democrats.”

If Trump is so unpopular, why are there masses of people at his speeches and handfuls at his Democrat's opponents. Don't make the same mistake you made in 2016.
Paid crowds.
lmao

Trump has 3/4 of his reign to go and I doubt if he gives a fvck about ratings and polls. I know I don't.
