Honestly, Kasich supporters are the LEAST inclined to switch support to Trump of Kasich were to drop out of the race. Thilnk about it....Kasich is currently the lowest in the delegate count of the active candidates. His supporters aren't there because they jump on bandwagons. They're informed and rational, supporting a sensible and level headed candidate. They'll back either Rubio before they support Trump. The only real hope Trump could have to benefit if Kasich dropped out would be for Kasich supporters to stay home and not even bother participating.

But Kasich won't drop out. He's going to go the distance because he knows its the smart thing to do, regardless of whether he gains a single additional delegate between now and then.
