People should be allowed to express their opinions. If you are a business owner you have to realize that your political stances are going to have an effect on your bottom line...you DO live in America. Your customers are allowed to choose to purchase or avoid your product / service based off of what you stand for (like many people may only buy products that are organic, made in the USA, etc.). It is literally PART OF BUSINESS.Yeah, these Trump protesters are so peaceful full of love for their fellow man:
It has been two days since she took center stage, next to the GOP front runner Donald Trump in Tucson.
Ever since she showed her support for the billionaire, she has been harassed at her business.
....While KGUN9 was inside Sammy's Mexican Grill, the phone rang several dozen times, many calling Betty Rivas and her family racists, vulgar names and threatening their business.
.... Rivas told KGUN9, she's shocked at all the controversy this sign has created because - she took a similiar sign to the Bernie Sanders rally in Tucson. That's right - she has not even decided who she is going to vote for.
Despite all the drama though, Rivas does not regret making that sign and going on stage at all.
With that said, I'm not necessarily disappointed that she got those harassing calls...since, as a business owner, she SHOULD have expected it. What I am happy about is that her views did get her customers (the video showed her running out of food she got so many customers). This is business, she is a business owner. Both the people that supported and protested her business because of her expressed political views were right in doing so.
