Despite their incessant crying that folks would go to jail over the material they would eventually release, when the whole picture was painted, no one had actually done anything legally offensible and no one was charged with any crimes.

So it's not fear that drives me on this thread -- it's outrage that a president could be so scared and careless, that he'd risk the nation's security to use classified material as a tool to try to squelch the Congress from doing their job of investigating potential wrong-doing on his part.

Actually, the judiciary issues the warrants , based upon the information that law enforcement (the exec branch) presents.
