Trump was hoping his insurrection was going to stop the certification of the vote just like Bush's riot stopped the Florida recount. But Trump lost 4 swing states. It was easier to steal one state (FLorida) with the help of Bush's brother Jeb. Trump needed the Supreme's he appointed to help him steal 5 states? That was just too much to ask.
