All this good news should give Trump an additional six to eight points for helping America to become a little bit great again.

Honestly it will hurt all Republicans.
Think of the average American citizen as a child and this SCOTUS as the adults.
Until we raise more responsible citizens, the adults, though necessary, aren't going to win popularity contests.

True. But being a part of the popular majority shouldn't be the goal. Being right should be the goal. Only a third of the original Colonists were all for the revolt against King George. I prefer to be in the minority that stands for something than the majority that falls for anything.

It's a fine line politically.
One needs to be right and persuasive enough to lead, and follow, others down the right path.
