They sure didn’t think political beliefs were a protected class when conservatives were being fired, silenced, not allowed to serve on boards, etc., did they? Conservatives were fair game, or, as they constantly liked to remind us “freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences.”

Yes. He is under no obligation to keep ANY employees nor to remain in San Francisco.

He definitely could just shut it down while he restructured, spend time interviewing and hiring top management, including a big HR team and/or a conservative HR recruiting firm, and then reopen with new staff in 2023 - in time to cover the new Congress.

But when you use your political beliefs to censor, hide, ban, remove, alter, or flag someone else's political beliefs who is really to blame?

If you have the power to change others political beliefs at your job then you shouldn't be allowed to exercise your political beliefs while at work and if you can't then you shouldn't be working there.

The people at Twitter have a moral and professional obligation to leave any and all political and religious beliefs at the door when they have the power to alter other people's words.
