Twitter closed their offices and no one is allowed into work. The number of people being laid off is going to be huge.

Employees were told, via the company email Thursday, that they would receive a notification to their Twitter email if their employment was not impacted, and they would receive a notification to their personal email with next steps if their employment is impacted.

In the company email, Twitter said its offices are temporarily closed and "all badge access will be suspended."

I don't hate to see anyone lose their job at Twitter. Being employed there and knowing all of their shady tactics, censoring, allowing people to be doxxed that were progressive, bannings, allowing speech that ruined some people's lives while banning others for their speech just because they weren't woke, along with government dealings in politics and so on? If you were a part of it you deserve to get fired because even if you didn't directly participate in it you were supporting those doing it

If you worked at Twitter and weren't like just a maintenance guy or a house keeper, etc then you were part of the problem and I have no sympathy for you losing your cushioned chair office air conditioned job.
