Not exactly the resounding slap against gays that you called it before. "At the same rate or higher" puts plenty in the "same rate" category.

It is an issue across the board. It is a despicable act, regardless of the gender or sexual orientation of the perpetrators or victims.


And while domestic abuse may have had some bearing on this woman's suicide, there were obviously other issues.

Every place I have seen posting domestic abuse statistics has simply talked about numbers of women and occasionally numbers of men. I have never seen domestic abuse stats for straights listed separately.

The real point is folks like you would stop the condemnation much more strain would be removed.
