Well, you could all learn that kissing rich man ass and beating up the poor through a great recession is not a long-term winning strategy but that would require a sense of shame and repentance.

That strategy netted Obama two presidential elections. OK that and voter fraud in swing states.

You're insane. Worst case of Obama derangement syndrome on this board.

Maybe, but he doesn't win that without some decent challengers.

Who raised tobacco taxes his first year in office?
Who opposed school choice?
Who actively worked to raise energy prices?
Under whom has the gap between middle class and high earners grown most?

Yeah, it's Obama every time.
You aren't insane. Merely ill-informed. And stupid.

Of course the far left does not care where their money comes from as long as they can out spend everyone in campaigns and in government.

Top All-Time Donors, 1989-2012 | OpenSecrets

That's a great site. I use it often.

The top donor on that list, ActBlue, has been around since 2004. In eight years, according to the site, they spent $93 million on campaign donations.

But that is direct contributions. There are other ways to spend money to help your candidate. Check this out, from the OP link:

In 2012, those consultants — many of them sharing the same floor of an office building in Alexandria, Va. — handled much of the media spending by the two Crossroads groups and Restore Our Future, a super PAC that spent $153 million to bolster Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign.

The right wing Restore Our Future spent $153 million, in one year!

Totally dwarfs ActBlue.

You mean that Reagan's Trickle Down theory has not worked for the poor yet? EGAD!

This internecine warfare is over money, honey. Not principles.

You can ever underestimate the right wing wackos. They are highly motivated to vote GOP no matter how much damage GOP policies cause them. They are immune to that fact.

A quiet but intense struggle over money and influence is roiling the Republican Party just as the 2014 election season is getting underway.

At least a dozen “super PACs” are setting up to back individual Republican candidates for the United States Senate, challenging the strategic and financial dominance that Karl Rove and the group he co-founded, American Crossroads, have enjoyed ever since the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision in 2010 cleared the way for unlimited independent spending.

In wooing donors, the new groups — in states like Texas, Iowa, West Virginia and Louisiana — are exploiting Crossroads’ poor showing in 2012, when $300 million spent by the super PAC and a sister nonprofit group yielded few victories. Some are suggesting that Crossroads’ deep ties to the Republican establishment and recent clashes with conservative activists are a potential liability for Republican incumbents facing Tea Party challengers.

Trouble in GOP Land? :eek::eek:

Yeah yeah, and everything in the Democrat/Commie land is just hunky dory..:eusa_hand:
a shame none of you worry as much over the Democrat Party and how they are tearing this country apart

I don't believe anyone has made that claim.....have they?

You naysayers are so superficial. The tea party got some senators elected,Cruz Rubio, and Paul. The establishment oafs cost us the senate and the presidency(rape comments). The radical portrayal of tea party is a democratic myth perpetrated by the media and alive mostly because all republicans don't have the colones to fight back. But you have blinders on if you don't see the tea party learning from its mistakes. They are the grass roots of the Republican Party and it would behoove Carl rove to marry his money with their on the ground muscle. And I think it is slowly happening. There are better candidates, younger, hip, and tech savvy who are showing up, and all the GOP candidates will be surfing the obamacare tsunami right up to the capital dome.
