I don't care that he's a cheating hound dog now. That's between him, his wife and his mistresses. Some women are willing to put up with it, or like Melania, take a lover, and get on with life. My attitude is "you cheat, you're gone". I'm currently single.

There is a vast difference between what Al Franken did, and having a mistress. Franken sexually assaulted a sleeping woman without her consent, and he lost his seat in the Senate because of it.

The Senate Candidate referred to in the OP is having consenual relationships with women dumb enough to fall for him, and similarly lacking in moral character, which is (a) not a crime; and (b) of no import in regards for his candidacy or his ability to do the job.

What is his record as an administrator. Does he have the skills and experience to do the job. Since his integrity is already in question, what about his fiscal integrity? Trump has a long sad history of failed businesses and shady business practices, which has been devastating for the country during this pandemic. And also a history of fraud and corruption, and campaign finance violations to pay off his mistresses. Those are the things that disqualified Trump for the Presidency, the lying, the fraud, the 7 bankruptcies, and the bribery and corruption. Not the 3 wives, or the multiple mistresses. Those are private matters.

Canada had a Prime Minister who held seances to converse with his dead mother. He was one of the great PM's we've had. His "oddities" had no impact on his ability to do the job.
