well for one he is supposedly one of the few humans to actually have spoken to "God".....so he may have had a heads up.....just sayin....

Moses' weed caught on fire, and the space craft saw the flames and landed.

The aliens installed an ultra high-frequency water displacement unit in the Staff of Moses. So, Moses was out of weed and pissed to begin with and then he saw his tribe worshiping the Golden Calf and he lit some fools up with that staff, maybe like boiling their blood or flash-heating the perspiration on their skin.

Later, fleeing the chariots of the Egyptian slavers, he parted the Reed Sea, and people hesitated to troll him after that.
