It incorrectly infers that to oppose Trump is to ‘support’ Clinton, when in fact that’s not the case.

Liberals are pragmatists, they long ago made peace with the nature of presidential politics where voters are called upon to decide between the ‘lesser of two evils.’

Indeed, for a significant number of voters – perhaps a majority – it’s not a matter of ‘support’ or ‘voting for,’ but a matter of voting against, in this case voting against Trump.
