Voter current events knowledge

6 - 12 for 50%

Why are these questions so important to know in order to vote?

In which of the following predominately Muslim countries are there more Shia Muslims than Sunni Muslims?

Who is the current Prime Minister of Israel?

Ukraine was once part of...

What is the industry that has primarily contributed to the recent economic boom in the state of North Dakota?

Understanding the causes of instability around the world is important when voting for people who will influence your national policies. Understanding the drivers of our economy and which politician is against or for these economic engines is important when choosing.

Or you could just choose someone because of their race or gender.

None of those questions ask about the causes of global instability nor the drivers to our economy.

Asking what country has more Shia muslims vs Sunni muslims is not determining the cause of instability.

Asking about North Dakotas recent economic boom has very little to do with national economics.

Perhaps not in your mind my friend.

Knowing the strife between Shia and Sunni determines how a leader handles a situation in that region. Knowing what drives the PM of Israel determines how a leader handles a M.E. situation. The energy boom is important economically as well as a positive for our strategic security.

None of the questions asked about strife. The question asked how many Sunnis vs Shia in a particular country.

None of the questions asked about what drives the PM of Israel.

North Dakotas economic boom is not driving our economy.

These are trivia questions.

You speak in absolutes. They only apply to your level of understanding. Noted.

I can't help you with that.
