Thanks for the articles, but I think this is well-known across America now. We have largely given up, though; since the Republicans took control of the Supreme Court and made the outright purchase of politicians completely legal, we no longer have greatly weakened election process.

Thanks, but it is indeed amazing how many here are still in denial and actually think the politicians run things. Yes, it has made our election process an archaic formality.

Ask the repubs and they'll tell you that this is good for America. They cant really explain why but when you mention rich guys exchanging money they get all tingly down there

Isn't just them who sport wood over the thought of a Corporate Oligarchist. Anyone who votes for a Democrat or a Republican endorses it, gets screwed by it, sees their country weakened by it, and think they're patriots. Sheep.

It's not about Republicans and/or Democrats so much as it is about those who have served too long and have given in to the lobbyists over time. Most newly elected representatives do not go to Washington already bought and paid for. Most actually go with good intentions, whether we personally agree or disagree with their politics. Sending someone to Washington from a third party won't change that. In time, they too will give in to the lobbyists and special interests.

Damned right, just like our "hope and change" president who sold out quickly.
