From January to September 2023, the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language received complaints from citizens about violation of the Law of Ukraine “On Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language”. Taras Kremin composed a "rating", in which areas the language law was most violated.
Thus, the most complaints - 842 - came to the sites of online stores or websites that did not have the Ukrainian version. A large part, namely 492 violations, was recorded during service. More than 436 complaints were received due to the use of the aggressor's language on outdoor advertising or signage.
