What could possibly go wrong? Liberals say this is the answer to the drug problem. Guess not.

A town once deemed "most hippie" in Washington recently outlawed drug use after a spike in fentanyl overdoses that included the death of a 5-year-old girl.

Edwin Williams, a city council member in Bellingham, Washington, said overdoses became so commonplace in his city that one dead body was left on a bench for 12 hours.

Inslee called the useless democrat led legislature back into special session because the let the law lapse making all drugs legal. Spokane has made their usual inept attempt at governing and made possession and public use a gross misdemeanor with a slap on the hands penalty. WA is nothing more that CA north--a shithole.

They've got a solid West Coast block with California, Oregon, and Washington. It's funny though how much they tout about how great California is, the fifth largest economy in the world, etc. while also having half the country's homeless population, worst income inequality in the country, and rampant crime with both residents and businesses fleeing the state in droves. But, look how great their liberal policies are.

How about going after the sources of these poisons?. How do the poisons arrive into the country? If it was a cloud of dust covering EVERYONE, politicians would care. Also,.it's always been a slippey slope, alcohol was once outlawed.we.saw how that went. Powerful poisons are a different animal but still

Sadly nothing really works preventing drug abuse. Not making stiff fines and not making zero fines.

The war on drugs has been on for decades. They mostly come in through ports of entry, snuck in. Maybe we could invest even more in drug detection?

What we need to do is forcefully incarcerate drug users into rehab facilities and not ever let them go until a board determined there was a good chance they could live back out in society, no matter how long it takes, even if decades. For most major traffickers, we need to come down hard, such as lifetime sentences and the death penalty if it could be proven they were personally responsible for particular deaths.

Democrats want to let all drug offenders out of jail.

I dont know. I get the passion about it but its hard to address users without somehow obliterating personal rights in a democracy.

Not sure about sentencing either. 77 Months is average. Seems like a long time.
