Note the common thread to successful presidents, executive leadership experience. That's one reason why Senators typically DON'T make good presidents (Obama included) because they are more accustomed to thinking and working as a group than being the visionary, the one out in front pointing the way. When we elected Obama, we wanted someone who would climb a tree, point and say "That way". Now we need someone to climb a tree, point and say "Wrong jungle". Obama, as smart as he believes himself to be, simply has no executive leadership experience. He just assumes everyone is going to recognize his greatness and that he doesn't have to do the heavy lifting that being that kind of a leader requires. This shows up most sharply in his refusal to take responsibility for anything.
