With all the taxes after it was made legal, the illegal pot was much more affordable.

Here in Oregon, weed is either a lot cheaper or about the same as it was when it was illegal. Now there are dozens of varieties available, there are always specials going on. I've bought ounces of decent bud for $20. Lots of edibles and vaping stuff available to those who don't want to smoke. You can always grow your own if you want to "stick it to the man".

It's almost beyond belief but a hundred years ago the tobacco industry actually claimed that cigarette smoking was good for you. We laugh about it today but wait, the sleaze bag pot heads are saying the same thing. Otherwise sane people are coerced into believing that inhaling a burning weed that might have been sprayed with pesticide and herbicide and soaked in God knows what is a medicinal aid.

Yeah, well lots of "sleaze bag" right wingers believe crazy shit about Covid vaccine, and that horse paste is an effective medicinal aid.

How are people being "coerced" into believing anything? People know from experience what works for them.

The weed quality is superb in Oregon. Medford and Portland especially.
