Made chili for dinner tonight. Nothing fancy; three types of canned beans (regular kidney, dark kidney and black beans), a can of diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, a small can of jalapenos and another of salsa verde (green salsa), a whole onion, a tablespoon of minced garlic, a few dashes of Cajun spices and two pounds of Honeysuckle White ground turkey (Yeah, I love to live dangerously....but I also know how to make sure food is properly cooked!). Cooked the meat in a skillet then tossed it in a crock pot set on high with everything else for 4 hours. Came out delicious as always!
