What makes Israel so special?

Amen! I totally agree! It's the opportunity that Nutanyahoo and his terrorist government have been waiting for.
And just maybe had something to do with instigating this attack.

Israel is a police state with a very competent intelligence service and military. Where were they?

How does Hamas import massive amounts of military hardware, without Israel’s knowledge?

It is really kind of simple. God made a promise to the Jews, if they upheld his laws, they would be rewarded. But he also told them that if they did not follow his laws, they would be punished. Which brings me to the most important of those laws, at least in the modern world.

But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 19:34

How can Israel ignore that rule? The treatment of the Palestinians, for 75 years now, has been abhorrent. And this current radical right wing government has only made matters worse. Only Jews have the right to self-determination? Seriously? How can anyone support that, especially not someone living in the United States, where ALL PEOPLE were deemed to be granted certain INALIENABLE rights by a higher power.

Nope, Israel had this coming, and quite honestly, it is only going to get worse. And they have nobody to blame but themselves.
How can Jew vote for Marxists/Demofascists which is a strict violation of the belief in God.

Oh i dont know, maybe they had a border security guy named Mayorkas?

They did know about the rockets.
They just couldn't do anything about it as their troops had pulled out of Gaza. (There have been small blurbs in the news)

What I think they didn't know about was the drones which were used on the automatic guns used to defend the borders. Once those were destroyed they could cross the border with impunity. IDF relied too much on those guns and didn't have enough troops stationed there to even slow the assault.

Your claim is Israel had knowledge Hamas was holding thousands of missiles? Do you have proof of this? How does Hamas store thousands of missiles and Israel does nothing about it? Kind of hard to hide thousands of missiles in a small heavily populated area, constantly surveilled by Israel.

Why was the border entirely unprotected? No military presence on the border, even with a large event going on right near the border. Seems rather unusual.

Seriously, I don't get it. Why? The country has a strong economy, landmarks of significance to several religions and strained relationships with many of its Arab neighbors. The founding of modern Israel can be traced back to World War I, when Zionists lobbied the British for recognition of a Jewish state in Palestine.

Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid: until February 2022, the United States had provided Israel US$150 billion (non-inflation-adjusted) in bilateral assistance.

Al Jazeera's Alan Fisher, reporting from Washington, DC, said that the US contributes $3bn a year in military aid to Israel. Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of United States foreign assistance since World War II.

What do you think?
Basically a State and people solely profiting from the "holocaust-pity and guilt" - from almost every nation on the planet.

Israel has received till now US$ 60 Billion from Germany (non-inflation adjusted) Israel additionally profits vastly from favored business-terms from the EU and added special preference terms from almost every single country on this planet - without it, the Israeli economy would totally collapse.

That the Jewish lobby in the USA and worldwide, automatically provides any needed support is also understood.

If not for this global "holocaust-pity and guilt" issue - I am dead sure that Israel would have come to terms with the Palestinians already decades ago.

I don't know about you - but to me this whole incident reeks and smells of Nethanyahu. (he was basically politically dead - so was his political alliance)

Not so sure about Judaism - but Christianity aka Jesus (NT) was also entirely written and composed by Hebrews - and Jesus clearly preached Socialism/Communism - after the Roman Church took over the writing of the NT from 350 AD. onward - this Socialism/Communism concept was diverted towards solely the poor - telling them it's great to sacrifice and donate, whilst the rest promoted and enjoyed Capitalism.

Yes you might be right. There is a long history of unpopular rulers instigating war in an effort to save themselves. Proof some in the ruling class are psychopaths.

What do you think?
I think I'm always going to support a leader in science
So you are now religious?
That's a very ignorant statement. It's religious people who start wars
Yep, a U.S. outpost - on stolen land.

Native Americans can easily identify with what has been done to the Palestinians.

"The Origin of the Palestine-Israel Conflict," and the book, "Against Our Better Judgment: The hidden history of how the U.S. was used to create Israel.

False narrative. If you defend the land you took its yours. You just can't accept that fact.

Israel has had automatic machine guns protecting the border. These devices detect and shoot anyone or anything trying to cross the border....similar to MANPADS but not for aircraft. With these devices in place the IDF only lightly man's the border with troops. (These were destroyed by drone attacks) They were caught flat footed by the size of the invasion. This is the part that was unexpected.
