What makes Israel so special?

Seriously, I don't get it. Why? The country has a strong economy, landmarks of significance to several religions and strained relationships with many of its Arab neighbors. The founding of modern Israel can be traced back to World War I, when Zionists lobbied the British for recognition of a Jewish state in Palestine.

Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid: until February 2022, the United States had provided Israel US$150 billion (non-inflation-adjusted) in bilateral assistance.

Al Jazeera's Alan Fisher, reporting from Washington, DC, said that the US contributes $3bn a year in military aid to Israel. Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of United States foreign assistance since World War II.

What do you think?

God's Chosen People. That's reason enough.
What Hossfly said. That's all I need to know. :dunno:

I don't care if they call me the goy or whatever. God said they're his chosen people, and I'm going to respect that.

Israel is a friendly nation to the US in a part of the world where we have few friends.
Israel is also the only true democracy in the neighborhood.
Many of the Jews who now live in Israel are former US Citizens.

As we have Friendly relationship with them we have shared technology in many areas of religious history, medical, cyber protection, and military. We also share intelligence from around the world.

Then there's the prophecies concerning this nation's recreation and potential destruction signifying the end of life on this planet.

I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.
Genesis 12:3

What part of "all peoples" do you not understand?

Simple answer is MONEY!

Lots of rich Jews in the US who demand our government support Israel unconditionally. These wealthy individuals have control of our political class.

Yet they vote Democrat. I can never understand why people would vote for the people who dont have their best interests in view.

So you are now religious?
I am a student of the bible and I know it well. This chapter seems topical to the current situation.

What makes Israel so special?

Nothing, they are not special.

The land they occupy. was never theirs to claim.
Israel will conduct mass murder in Gaza within the next few weeks.

Why do I get the feeling you're trying to take something out of context like a moron would?

Actually that is in context. God made a covenant with Abraham, and his descendants are the chosen people.

Ergo, that's a reason to bless his people.

God’s words are written in the Holy Bible and the following is what He said-----

Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.

& so; it is being done in your lifetime;

According to a 2002 study by the Jewish Agency, "the number of Jews in the world is declining at an average of 50,000 per year."

Me thinks that you are a typical Marxist that lies all the time.

So says the guy that believes Donald Trump is an angel from heaven. You know who else was an angel from heaven? Satan.

“What makes Israel so special?”

It’s a client state of the US – allowing America to fight terrorism and kill Muslims without getting its hands (too) dirty.

Israel also tests America’s weapon systems in real-world situations without risking American lives.

And Israel is the only nuclear power in the ME (that we know of).

It is really kind of simple. God made a promise to the Jews, if they upheld his laws, they would be rewarded. But he also told them that if they did not follow his laws, they would be punished. Which brings me to the most important of those laws, at least in the modern world.

But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

Leviticus 19:34

How can Israel ignore that rule? The treatment of the Palestinians, for 75 years now, has been abhorrent. And this current radical right wing government has only made matters worse. Only Jews have the right to self-determination? Seriously? How can anyone support that, especially not someone living in the United States, where ALL PEOPLE were deemed to be granted certain INALIENABLE rights by a higher power.

Nope, Israel had this coming, and quite honestly, it is only going to get worse. And they have nobody to blame but themselves.

God's Chosen People. That's reason enough.
God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

(Deu 7:7 KJV) The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

(Deu 7:8 KJV) But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt.

(Deu 7:12 KJV) Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he swore unto thy fathers:

Note the word “if”

(Deu 7:13 KJV) And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kin, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

"in the land which he swore unto thy fathers to give thee"

The above means that God did not give the land to them yet. They must first earn this gift.

I believe they have not earned this right, do you?

………………………..

(Ezek 36:17 KJV) Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their ..own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

(Ezek 36:18 KJV) Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it.

(Ezek 36:22 KJV) Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

(Ezek 36:24 KJV) For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

(Ezek 36:31 KJV) Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

(Ezek 36:32 KJV) Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, Ohouse of Israel.

(Ezek 36:24 KJV) states that they will be gather and once gathered He will judge them one last time. That day of judgement is NOW.

God told His chosen how to treat the "stranger"
The term "stranger" is used 128 times in the Bible which was a guide for his chosen to follow.
Sadly, they have "chosen" not to
:)-

Well, HAMAS has cursed them, and they are going to be cursed.
The inbreds we call "Palestinian" these days teach their children from earliest age that Jews are apes and pigs and that their highest duty in life is to kill them.

One might as well saunter up to a badger in the wild and try to cuddle it for all the good any overtures of peace and friendship would ever have on them.
Badgers are not as cruel as Muslims.

Yep, you took it all kinds of out of context. All Palestinians want to do is kill the Jews.

It's like TDS, but..Jews.
