What would have President Kennedy have done about the media fiasco in Ferguson, Missouri?Well, we have his words from James Meredith going to Ole Miss. How ironic:

"Americans are free, in short, to disagree with the law but not to disobey it. For in a government of laws and not of men, no man, however prominent or powerful, and no mob, however unruly or boisterous, is entitled to defy a court of law. If this country should ever reach the point where any man or group of men by force or threat of force could long defy the commands of our court and our Constitution, then no law would stand free from doubt, no judge would be sure of his writ, and no citizen would be safe from his neighbors. "
-JFK
Exactly the mob rule the liberal media promotes and the abuse of power by Eric Holder.

More evidence that if JFK were alive today ...he would be a Republican.

What Would JFK Done About Ferguson Fiasco

What if Eleanor Roosevelt could fly.

What if you could survive for just one week in the protective-custody ward of the misdemeanor pod of a small-town jail?

What if an African bull elephant found you attractive?

What if you could actually get laid in a job johnny at a Justin Timberlake concert?

What if you could actually make a funny post?

Excuse me. But....do you really believe that your OP qualifies as "evidence" of anything?

That is a serious question. In your mind.......does you wondering about how a(n) Historical figure would have reacted to a recent event....based on a snippet of text from long ago.... represent supporting evidence?

Absolutely. JFK was responding to an event during the Civil Rights era of the 1960's. He was talking about a mob action to deny someone of their civil rights. That is exactly what happened in Ferguson. The mob that assembled was not about the criminal Brown and his civil rights, but to attempt to DENY officer Wilson of his civil rights. " No JUSTICE no peace." It was a lynch mob. So why has a different standard developed? It has been because of a huge liberal bias on the campus and in the media. JFK is held up as a hero to the left , when in actuality he would have been appalled by the actions in Ferguson by the media and by violent protesters. Those people were nothing more than deliberate cover for outsiders to fire pistols at police.

You said a lot. All of it fucking stupid. Where is the EVIDENCE that JFK would be a republican? You don't seem to know what evidence is.

Liberals back then are Republican today. Everyone knows that.
So liberals today would be hard corps socialist back then? Their world view would be shaped by their exposure to radical elements from the university professorate? Like Barry Obama?

Don't attempt to frame the issue. Based on his words, how would he have responded to an event like Ferguson? Why a double standard then to now...or is it simply the racist mindset of liberals that Blacks will always be VICTIMS...and Whites will always be OPPRESSORS? JFK's words on "mob action" and people in power supporting it and denying someone of their rights...is exactly the views expressed by conservatives over the Ferguson media event.

I have to remember to avoid engaging you. You don't have what it takes. You see things that aren't there and form arguments upon them. It's futile to try and discuss something with someone who does that.

If you cant handle the heat then get out of the kitchen. You tried to frame an issue and avoid original post. You chose not to engage the question in a reasonable manner, bit instead as a typical liberal. You cried and went home.

President Kennedy a fiscal conservative. He reduced the debt, reduced the tax rates from 91% to 65%, reduced the capital gains tax to 19%, and balanced the budget. John Kenneth Galbraith, who called Kennedy's speech economic anchor speech, "the most Republican speech since McKinley," and Al Gore, Sr., said it was "a bonanza for fat cats." JFK...Cold Warrior...fiscal conservative. Today...Republican. This is toooooo easy.

"The ever expanding power of the federal government, the absorption of many of the functions that states and cities once considered to be responsibilities of their own, must now be a source of concern to all those who believe as did the great patriot, Henry Grattan that: “Control over local affairs is the essence of liberty "

This is not in the history forum. Hence I can ask such a question that violates the rule of not asking "what if questions" in a historical context.

"Evidence is clear, through the words of JFK that his reaction to Ferguson, Missouri fiasco, would have been to support local law enforcement and reign in the federal government."

Happy? Now...the same post apply.
