As for who or what should guide the law . . . you're missing a whole heck of a lot here in your canned choices. Young people do not understand the truth, weight, depth or power of good and evil; right and wrong. Right and wrong NEVER change—never have and never will from a million centuries back to a million into the future. Thus the primordial concepts of RIGHT vs. WRONG should drive all law in this nation of ours. Killing a child is always wrong. Sexually abusing a child is always wrong. The problem is that everything that is evil or wrong, the left considers right. Everything that is just, normal, or traditional is wrong.

In the perfect America, we would have two countries instead of one. The left gets the left side of the country where their precious Mexican border is, and the right gets the east side of the country.

After a fair land tradeoff, we build a Trump wall to keep the liberals out of our side of the country. We would be able to visit people in the opposite country, but no living there. The Independents would have to decide which side they wish to live.

This way, everybody is happy. The Republicans can run our side the way we want, and the Democrats can run their side the way they want. The best part of that for me would be, my property value would double the minute the Democrats had to all move out.
