When Democrats say Hillary Clinton won the popular vote...

Yeah. That's cool. She got more votes. More people voted for her. Facts are facts.

And....Santa is on par with Jesus. Both are fairy tales. For some reason, lots of people never stop believing in one of em'.

You mad bro 10 million less voted for her than Obama?

Nope. Obama is a top 10 POTUS.

Mad isn't the word. Embarrassed is the word.

Only in your ilks mind, history will say otherwise.. Trump will deliver what Obama couldn't and that scares the shit out of you

I'm rooting for Trump to do all the great things he has promised. I'm also hoping he doesn't do all the bigoted things he promised.

I'm an American. Good news doesn't scare me.

Asshole.

the dude on the right looks like the last 300lb plumber of whoms ass I had to look at for 23.9 minutes
Were you doing fortune telling?
no, he was removing a beaver that was clogging up my toilet.
Was she still usable after extraction?
yes, it was a small furry beaver, I guess she jumped into my toilet looking for salmon
Next thing you knew crabs were converging....

Who is going to be sworn in as President of the United States in January?

Why are you asking a retarded question? Need some confirmation?

You're the one whining and bawling, just pointing out it's all for nothing, you lost. Cankles is forever done....Trump finished her

...it's kind of like taking a vote of 5-year-olds to see how many of them believe in Santa Claus.

It doesn't matter.

Hillary Clinton lost the electoral college and that's what matters according to the United States Constitution as written by the Founding Fathers. Donald Trump has been elected the President of the United States, and anyone who says otherwise is engaging in sedition against our Republic.

And there ain't no Santa no matter how many kids believe in him.

Actually the Electoral College doesn't vote until December 19 so nobody won or lost it.

And no, it's not like Santa Claus. It's a number, and numbers are by definition quantifiable. Just a question of where the number will settle.

It's more like a poll on who Americans want to be President. But this time an accurate one.

Based on the peoples vote he got 306.
If they vote against the majority of voters you will see a very big backlash and the people who vote in Dec. know this. This was a vote against an ideology.
I dont think they will get that many needed to overide it for Hillary. Even they dont want her. :)
Now that is suppressing the peoples vote if they do.

Fun fact: Electoral College voters aren't Constitutionally required to observe the popular vote, nether of their own state, nor of the country. They can do what they want including override if they have a reason.

Like say for instance, just to make something up, suppose somebody got elected and then it was found out he was running a fraud operation. Electors, some of them, could decide that even though they were assigned to vote for that guy, they won't. Constitutionally they can do that.

Anyway the point really was that the OP has no clue how this all works. He thinks the EC already voted. As if they were all sitting around watching TV on election night until the call came, then signed their form, had another beer and went home. But they haven't --- it's over a month away.

Notice how Trump's lawyers are asking for an extension of time before the trial?

I have not heard what the judge has said yet.....

It actually does matter quite a bit. Legally speaking, the popular vote does not count for anything. Politically speaking it does and it matters how he proceeds. Should he ignore the fact that more voted for Hillary than for him he is going to find it very hard to not only pass his agenda through a congress that is going to be looking to the next re-election but also get re-elected himself in 4 years.

Not acknowledging that the nation is basically split down the center would not bode well for the party at large. Of course it does not seem that Trump is unwilling to acknoledge that considering he is already trying to bridge the gap before even taking office. This is a good sign.

Does not look good for who?

Once Trump is in office there really is not going to be any trials that he is directly a part of.

The trial is for Trump U and really has no bearing on the presidency win or lose.
