The government labelling anyone that doesn't support mass immigration as far-right is a precarious policy. As a natural born UK citizen of over 50 years, I feel Starmer's Labour has utter dissent and contempt of the British people. Underprivileged children struggling at school? Slap VAT on private school fees.

Crumbling public services? Hand staff – many of whom are clearly underperforming – whopping pay increases with no requirement of improved productivity.

A fiscal black hole? Hammer “wealthy” pensioners by removing a benefit that helps ensure millions don’t spend their winters in cold and damp homes.

At a time when worklessness is soaring, when a growing number are choosing to be economically inactive or are too sick to work, we ought to be celebrating and rewarding those who strive, aspire and take risks.

Instead, the Government is launching a misguided class war that will tear them down.

It’s almost enough to make you miss Rishi Sunak.
