Trump thought that the Russian propaganda Guliani got from the Russian agent he was running around the Ukraine with would do it, but Guliani's Russian handler got outed, and Russian hacking of Burisma was exposed. Then the Senate Investigation issued a report saying Hunter Biden had done nothing illegal or improper which pretty much demolished that one.

He's also been relying on Barr and Durham's investigations to file charges against Democrats for spying on his Campaign. None of Trump's investigation have netted a single charge against anyone, except the low level FBI drone who screwed with the Carter Page FISA Application. A very small fish indeed.

Barr travelled the world "investigating the investigators", and promised charges upon his return, and delivered . . . crickets. This was after he soundly criticized the Inspector General Report which said that the Russia Investigation and the investigation of the Trump Campaign were properly constitution, and properly conducted.

Barr promised the Durham Report's findings would be much different, and that charges would be filed before the election. Durham's assistant quit shortly thereafter, citing political interference and pressure from the White House. Trump was infuriated by the complete failure of the "unmasking investigation" which failed to back up any of Trump's allegations against the Obama Administration, and in fact, said it never happened. Then Barr announced that Durham would not be releasing any report or filing any charges before the election, and Trump has already indicated his "disappointment" in Barr.

None of Trump's allegations have ever resulted in charges, and all of his accusations against his "enemies" have been utterly discredited and found to have no validity in fact or in law.

The Citizens United decision was utterly and completely wrong, and will be legislated right out of existence. That decision has resulted in billions of dollars in "dark money" going into campaigns on both side. Those with wealth are in a position to influence elections to their own benefit. The Koch Brothers gave $50 million to Republican Senate races in 2010. They didn't donate that money out of the goodness of their hearts.

COLLUSION: Did the FBI Sit on a Computer Containing Evidence of Hunter Sex Tape and Biden Burisma Corruption?

What about the part where the FBI had possession of this information back in December? Why didn’t the FBI come forward with this evidence about Hunter Biden’s emails, which appear to show collusion and influence-trading? Isn’t that something they should have told the president or members of Congress? Was the FBI deliberately covering it up? If the good citizen who came forward and alerted the FBI of the contents of the laptop had not made a copy of the information, it would still be under FBI lock and key. But the computer repairman did make a copy and sent it to Rudy Giuliani. If true, it’s a stunning indictment of the FBI that an American citizen—who alerted them to alleged multiple crimes involving a guy with the last name Biden—knew not to trust them and made other arrangements should they try to cover it up (which, apparently, they did).

Imagine for a moment that a laptop was recovered showing emails from Donald Trump Jr. to a Russian oligarch implicating him in influence-trading and, like a cherry on a sundae, there was also video of him snorting coke off the backsides of prostitutes. Do you think the story would lead every mainstream media news show? You’d better believe it would.
