White House hasn't asked FBI to vet Kavanaugh allegations

DiFI needs to be booted from the Senate because she denigrates every actual victim of sexual assault.

Which is more likely...that a man who takes advantage of women continues to do so especially as he becomes a prominent and powerful member of society...or that he doesn't use his status against women? Time after time we've seen the Bill Clinton's and the Bill Cosby's and the Matt Lauers...and the Charlie Roses...and the Harvey Weinsteins all use their positions of power to sexually abuse women...yet in this instance a man who is accused of attempted rape when he was 17...thirty years later...has no other examples of where he did anything unseemly? That's hard to believe quite frankly...

There is nothing for the FBI to investigate.

Always taking the males side or the conservative side.

Law enforcement rarely investigates when key details of a crime are being omitted. Key to an investigation would be, where the alleged crime happened (goes to jurisdiction) and when it happened. This contains neither.

But thanks for playing.

Was she so drunk before she got there that the date or approximate date was wiped from her memory? Was she in such bad shape that she did not know where she was? She claims to have made her own way home so how did she get there if she did not know where she was?
Is it possible that she may not be remembering anything correctly?
Is it possible that she was so drunk she only thinks it was Kavanaugh and his friend? Perhaps she put names to them after the fact.
Perhaps she was so drunk that she misinterpreted what happened as an attempted rape when it was just someone knocking her onto a bed, or someone tickling her.

She never made any allegations when it happened. She kept silent when he was made a judge. The only thing we have is her word and him and the other person saying no. There have been no other allegations. There has been plenty of those saying it is not in his nature or character.

Just wanted to straighten out some of the wild speculation by some of you kids that the reason the FBI hasn't launched an inquiry is because there is "no evidence". They haven't so much as made a phone call. And so, we will commence a partisan he said/ she said shit-show on Monday which will come down to well you know, the usual NOTHING.

The White House hasn’t asked the FBI to investigate the allegation that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted a woman when they were in high school, a request required for the bureau to take further action, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The FBI’s initial background investigation into Kavanaugh was completed before Christine Blasey Ford came forward with the allegation.

Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have said they want the FBI to investigate the allegation. But FBI background investigations are conducted under specific procedures and through requests from government agencies -- which in Kavanaugh’s case would come from the White House, said the two people who asked not to be identified discussing the sensitive matter.

Further investigation by the FBI could be politically volatile, thrusting the bureau into the middle of a tense battle over the future lineup of the Supreme Court. While there appears to be limited evidence for the Federal Bureau of Investigation to work with, the bureau is accustomed to doing professional background investigations, even when the evidence is thin.

Sorry, no way to investigate this and even if it is true, and it isn't since she can't even keep her story straight, the statute of limitations would have run out about 2 decades ago........
It doesn't have to be about arresting him; the FBI does background checks and I would think with this allegation that they would WANT to update their background checks on Kavanaugh, at least for the record.
It's true if she can't come up with a year or the place so that others who were there could be questioned, there is almost no way to do this, though. Besides, the others who were there could very well have partied through the whole thing and not known it was happening. In her interview with WaPo, Ford stressed that she took pains not to let on she had been attacked, for some reason.

Isn't it amazing that this man who attempted rape WAY back then...has no other examples of improper sexual conduct over the years since? That he somehow turned himself into the choir boy that he now appears to be?
That is one of many reasons that I am not immediately "buying" her story.

There's no fucking sides, there's the TRUTH and there's EVIL. It's that fucking simple. Lying about a sexual assault for political purposes is ABSOLUTELY FUCKING EVIL and needs to be dealt with accordingly.

No but he blacked out and so did his buddy. I'm sure they can locate where the party was, probably close to the prep school the elitists teens went to.

So if there were several women like in Trumps case that would make it more believable??

One possibility is that this happened, but it was not Kavanaugh and it could very well be a genuine case of mistaken identify. Memories can be very iffy things, and she would not have had to be plastered for that to happen over time.

Yep....... and if she was drinking too?

In a court of law, with these facts, could they prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt?

Wrong..... this was a planned event on her part...you don't tell a democrat politician about something like this with the Supreme Court in the Balance without planning on coming forward...... by the way, since you are so gullible, I have a bridge I am selling....

Your only problem with the Trump case is no one accused him of rape. You might be able to canvas a hundred square mile around that school but with no more then a house with an upstairs to go on you would have too many to go with and even if you had a confirmed location what would that prove? It is still a matter of one accuser and two deniers. No date no idea how drunk she was no real idea how drunk the others were. There is nothing but her word over two others.
