I just thought that this should be a fun / interesting exercise that (hopefully) won't really devolved into partisan bickering. Just simply state your favorite politician who is currently occupying a seat...no limitations, can be anybody from the President to a local politician in your area. It would also be interesting to hear why.

Me, my favorite politician is Senator John McCain.

I may be a Democrat, and lean left...but I am a moderate and served in the USMC. Being in the military has made me keenly interested in military manners and I try to watch as many Armed Services Committee hearings from the Senate as I can. Sen. McCain is the chair for that committee, and from both his conduct and his questioning, I truly feel like he has America and our defense as his greatest concern. While this may seem like common sense, the partisan politics of Washington make a principled man like McCain a minority and, even if he isn't on my side of the aisle, I feel like he truly fights for American and me.

Trey Gowdy. I have admired him for years. He is intelligent and cares about truth and justice.

Donald Trump, without question. I love his policies and he makes liberals show yheir true batshit craziness.

From banning free speech to using and defending violent protests, Trump has made the left show themselves for who they really are

Anti Christian and anti american socialist hypocrites.

tough call. but got to admit, Chris Christie did crack me up a little when he referred to someone in the room as "The Dumbass In The Back",,,,,well,,,something like that

These two geniuses for starters. :cuckoo::uhoh3:

But of course, President Trump is my favorite politician for trying to fundamentally transform the United States of America his way and making America great again. ;)

Real hope and change. ( for a change )

any Democrat who actually believes that an Island will topple if too many people live on lt

Being a "piece of work" is only admirable when he isn't YOUR governor.
I liked what Joe Manchin said this past week about the travel ban. Don't know anything else about him but the willingness to compromise and come up with something reasonable and sensible sounded very refreshing to me. He also voted for Gorsuch. Swimming against the stream is something I sometimes admire in a pol.

McCain is a grump old man, who fights hardest against his own.
