Sec 230 was designed for places like this, not social media as we know it today. it keeps people from being able to sue whoever owns the site for what you and i post. it's meant so that they don't HAVE to moderate us and have to decide what stays and goes.

this is by definition of the time - platform.

social media today is hiding behind those protections to be able to do specifically what S.230 said you won't have to do - moderate posts and determine what stays and goes.

since the tide today is in the favor of the left, they push it. they won't admit what things are and keep doing crap like "facebook is a private company they can do what they want" then demand someone has to bake gaycakes.

pretty much why we're at odds these days.
