Right now, up to 10,000 requests for asylum are happening each day. The law would have capped it at 5,000

Not securing our border. Its a quota to what you are doing already but doesnt even limit to 5000 a day. Has to be weeks of that many everyday. Then still requires 1500 a day

Right now 10,000 to 20,000 can cross a day....there are no limits on how many in a caravan can cross in a day.

5000 cap before it triggers an automatic shut down is enormously better than what we have now, because you failed to pass this bipartisan bill for solely political posturing!
