That was a question asked over and over again about the Secret Service. It was asked after the massive political operation within the FBI was discovered. The two people who finally did get fired are about to get a huge payoff, if Merrick Garland has his way with this sweetheart settlement deal:

But no one is being fired for leaving their post unguarded when it leads to the near death of a future president?
Strozk, Page, and that FBI person who falsified the email were fired, because their names were so public that the FBI had little choice. So the Harris-Biden administration's strategy is to make sure those names are never known. The name of the Secret Service Agent who was in charge at the Butler rally is not being release, "because he or she "is still operational," according to the FBI's new acting director.
"Still operational?" So, he or she still in charge of the protection of senior government members at large gatherings? Why are they not on administrative leave, at a minimum?
