Why does Trump put up with this affront to his divine leadership? Any major corporation would have immediately terminated an employee who openly and publicly disagreed with his/her boss. It's fundamental to business and should be to Trump also. Trump normally demands loyalty from his subordinates. Why is Dr. Fauci getting a pass, especially with Trump's poll numbers in the dumper.

Actually Fauci has consistently given the best advice based on the knowledge at the time. As new information came in, Fauci would change his position reflecting the new data.

It's called a "learning curve".
