  The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

And it continues.

• Obsession with National Security
  Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

There are 14 points. When you obtain all 14, the Nation is setup for a Fascist Leader to emerge. We are sitting solid with 12 out of those 14 and attempts to cement the last two. The only two things standing in the way right now to a complete setup for a Fascist takeover is the US Military and Congress.

To give you an idea, in order to setup a fascist Government, the Fascist leader will need to control 2/3rds of the Congress or render it powerless and either control or abolish the Supreme Court. He will also have to get the backing of the Corporate Businesses and the Military. Then either take over or discredit the Free Press and support the presses that fully support the "Leader". The "Leader" doesn't have to eliminate the other side, just render it ineffective.

And the "Leader" is going to bide his time until there is a major National Emergency where he can consolidate his power. In case you haven't noticed, we have two potential national emergencies running right now. And with 12 of the 14 points of Fascism already obtained, it's just a short step to the destruction of the Nation as we know it.

History is a wonderful thing when it's used for good. To deny it is never a good thing. What I am doing is using the Mussolini Manifesto of 1923. You might say it was a fluke but Hitler used it to setup his own Fascist Government in Germany. Hitler didn't invent a thing on how to obtain power. He followed Mussolini's manifesto. And so did Spain but Spain was a more Benevolent version (if you can call it that). Franco didn't take it the last step and go for the Dictator that the other two did and Fascism survived in Spain until at least 1974 and beyond.

So they're saying Black Lives Don't Matter?
BLM is one trick pony, convincing America that blacks lives do matter and thus inspiring people to take action. Exactly what that action is other than protesting remains undefined.

BLM is focused on a very select set of Black Lives that meet the condition of dying while in Police custody or at the hands of Police. Contrast the frequency of this occurrence with the number of Black lives lost on a daily basis to violence.

It's pretty hard to generate public support for a black single mother whose unable to properly raise her kids and sees them fall into crime and violence. It's just not that dramatic and there is no clear villain except society but it's just as important if not more so.

I can accept that to a point. How about protests and appeals to stop violence. Not a magic bullet but a starter. I’d back subsidized higher education and vocational technical schools to provide a path and true hope.

The basic problem is how do you actually stop the violence? It's pretty easy to walk around waving a sign but a lot harder to come up with a workable plan to stop police violence and still protect the community. The fact is most police killing are completely justified.

I think putting a lot more money into mental health and more people to work in the communities to solve problems will help. Right now if you call the Seattle Police department and tell them your neighbor is nutty as a loon and is dangerous, they might send a policemen out to talk to him and if he really seems mentally impaired the cop might try to get the person to agree to a trip to the ER. 3 days observation to see if he tries to kill himself or someone else then a trip back home with a prescription he will never fill.

No killing is justified. Giving police the right to think that way is why we are in this position as a country.

I have to disagree with you here. There are many instances that occur in which the police either allow a killer to continue killing or use deadly force. Surely you don't expect a policemen to do nothing when a killer points a gun at him or an innocent bystander or when a person sits at a hotel window and picks off pedestrian as they flee. Being a cop is not an easy job and being a good cop is a lot harder. There are a lot of things that need to change in law enforcement but doing away with the police is certainly not one of them.

What we should be discussing is practical ways to improve the situation. Anybody that believes protests are going to end racism or abolishing the police is a solution to violence is living la la land.

I will remind all again that the founders understood that there will be times that violence would be necessary. We never would have become a country without it.

Why was violence necessary in this case, and what did your violence accomplish?

Violence has got us to the point that there are police officers being held accountable. Violence has got us increased use of body camera's. Violence got us charges against those who acted against Floyd in 4 days as opposed to excuses that "we are still investigating" years later.

The officers were held accountable before the riots, arsons and murders. Your violence is universally condemned by all. Thanks for handing Trump the election.
