A lot of people might be seeing the truth, which is often the exact opposite of what media reports. Some keep bashing the tax cuts, claiming they only helped the wealthy and yet people who filed taxes last month realized that they paid less than before. The percent owed was lowered across the board so people are lying if they say they didn't pay less.

Minority unemployment is the lowest it's been since the government has been keeping track. The economy is doing better. Most people actually support secure borders. And many people don't approve of some of the radical new congress members who are anti-Semetic, socialist, or just plain stupid.

As someone pointed out, all politics are local.

People are enjoying more $$$$ in their pockets. Spending is up so more jobs are created. People no longer feel stuck in a rut - if they're unhappy where they are, they can look for other jobs. Construction is booming. I see new stuff rising up wherever I turn. While there are still a lot of empty storefronts, more people are starting up businesses.

Promises kept are turning things around.
And, it doesn't help that the left is showing itself for the weird farce it is. The worst thing that happen to a politician is that people are laughing AT him/her instead of WITH.
