When I was growing up in Miami in the 60's the screen doors were never locked, never thought of using a bicycle lock and life was good. Used to ride my bike to grade school where they had a bicycle parking lot for about 200 bikes, Kids would also walk to school and the only thing we had for safety was the school safety patrol, Can't do any of that in today's world

Wife and I were going to see some friends just outside of North Chicago a few years ago. Wife says "Honey, I HAVE to go to the bathroom!!" as we were in the middle of the Southside. I implored her to wait for a few minutes but she was having none of it..'

I finally stopped at a gas station off the main highway and pulled in. I told her to be quick. The clerk at the store (yes, a black guy) wouldn't let her use the PUBLIC bathroom and he told her "Lady get yo white ass out of here".

She held it until we got further up the road. Yeah, blacks can't be racist. Now to be sure, I HAD already taken my pistol out of its' hiding place in the truck. Luckily, that old lady could still move her feet quickly......
