Why is the Corporate Owned Media Ignoring Third Party Candidates?

Little mention of the rising third party candidates.

Why is that? Why do corporate media owners have so much invested in the two party system?

Because in our system the Third Parties are barely fringe candidates, at best. I think you can count on both hands the number of seats held by independents, even when you take into account state, county, local, municipality, and school boards positions.

When they start getting some seats in Congress and a few state legislatures in control that will change, but right now they are irrelevant, so why bother giving them any coverage?
