It's not funny. People who you least expect to be the type to end up being a member some wacky doomsday cult end up being a slave to a doomsday cult.

For example, a very good friend of mine who was a logical thinker and one of my smartest peers ended up in a doomsday cult.

That was my motivation to start studying these doomsday cults a few decades ago. I had an insatiable curiosity. I just had to know how a reasonable rational person like that could get brainwashed into becoming a slave to one of these doomsday cults.

As is typical of doomsday cults, in the case of the Global Warming Doomsday Cult, the cult elite do not practice what they preach. They do not lead by example. The hypocrites globe trot in CO2 spewing private jets and limousines. But that does not matter to their brainwashed droves of fecal-nosed ass-kissers and boot lickers.

The cult leaders use common brainwashing techniques. Fear, repeated messaging, etc....
