Will extremists from both sides force the USA to default on debt?

The majority need to get their asses in gear so the extremes do not dominate our politics..
The battle is not left vs right, it is extremists against balanced people.

I think the extremes are closer to 15% to 20% but they are so vocal it seems like a higher %.
