WINNING! Just The Idea of Re-Imposed Trump Sanctions Has Iran's Economy Crashing!

Is this what America has become? Wishing for awful suffering. We really do need reconsider this Empire-Building Agenda. We have no right to impose 'Regime Change.' All Empires fall.
Why do we need to be so feminist about an enemy states suffering? The point is to win after all. And in order to do so your enemy has to suffer. We can’t snowflake and safe space our way through a war. You win wars by kicking the other guys ass so hard he can’t survive and his family can’t either.

More Americans need to ask, why is Iran an enemy? It goes back many years to the CIA overthrowing their Democratically-Elected leader, and installing a brutal Dictator Puppet. It ultimately led to the Islamic Revolution.

And now, we're itching to meddle in Iran again. Yet most Amerians wonder why they hate us. When does all this Regime Change meddling end? It's not what our country is supposed to be about. We're now seen as a brutal bully by many in the world. Let's stop all the meddling and war. Let's go a different route for a change.

More Americans need to ask, why is Iran an enemy?

Because the mullahs are evil.

Yet most Amerians wonder why they hate us.

The people don't hate us, the mullahs do.

How many nations has Iran invaded the last couple centuries? Compare that to how many the US has invaded in that time span. So who's the aggressor in this mess?

who are the barbarians?

Romans applied the term 'Barbar' to anyone who spoke a different language than them. To them, everything sounded like "bar-bar, bar-bar" so they made fun of them.

Latin was actually a pretty cool language. Spanish, it's bastard child, is the ugliest language in Galactic History. Italian ain't too bad but it's kinda primitive as well

Iran is a very dangerous aggressor. It is fomenting EXTREME violence thruout the middle east-------The BLOODBATH in SYRIA IS ------an Iranian machination as is the ongoing blood bath in Yemen (btw----ongoing for a few decades)
Lebanon is all but lost Iran seeks CONTROL (together with Russia) on ALL OF THE PORT CITIES prominent thruout the red sea and the Mediterranean--------and that means CONTROL ON WORLD TRADE. Lately \
Iran is making eyes at EGYPT-------does the Suez canal ring a bell? -----a strange romance------in fact EGYTIANS despise the Iranians-----but are lately
spending time in bed

Yes, in the West it did. They spread themselves too thin and couldn't defend back at home. It was kinda like what we're doing now. $22 Trillion in Debt, Wide open Border, and meddling everywhere in the world. This Empire-Building is gonna cost us bigtime at some point. I recommend we scale things way back and end the Empire-Building Agenda.

Dewd, you don't know shit from Applebutter about history.

I strongly suggest you do some reading.

One thing to keep in mind....... Most of the people warring with Rome?

They didn't want to destroy Rome, they wanted to be PART of Rome.

Sound familiar? It should.

Now, turn off CNN and educate yourself. CNN has been known to rot the brain

Yes, they became a PART of it by conquering it and ending the Empire in the West. It's pretty amazing we're making the same awful mistakes. The Barbarians will be at our gate too someday. With a shocking $22 Trillion Debt, Border wide open, and meddling everywhere in the world, the Barbarians will be here soon.

what 'barbarians' ??? now that the Vikings have turned into Danes

Open Borders. The Barbarians are actually already here.

who are the barbarians?

Open Borders. Rome first fell from within. They became wealthy, spoiled, and lazy. They imported Millions of foreigners to be mercenaries in their military, and for labor. At the same time, they were spreading themselves way too thin around the world. That doomed the Empire.

It was a combination of internal and external blunders that led to its demise. We're headed down the same path. $22 Trillion in Debt, Open Borders invasion, and starting war after war, is gonna doom us too.

Spanish is very nice. Latin is dead-------ex ano

Sounds like a lotta propaganda hysteria. The fact is, Iran hasn't invaded a country in centuries. It's the US that's the aggressor. It's seeking yet another 'Regime Change' war. Another invasion. How many is that just since WWII?

None of our business. We need to move away from meddling in every nations' affairs. Scrap the Regime Change policy and scale things way back. Let's come home and secure our Border. Time to take George Washington and Thomas Jefferson's advice... Free/Fair Trade and peace with all nations.

Death to America. Killing US troops in Iraq.
Exporting terrorism around the world. It is our business.

Nope. We need to change the shit out of that regime.

Hey asshole, I am a veteran of 30 years (& multiple wars) who 're-upped' as a civilian.

You?

I served for 11 years, but got out after the Gulf War because the Jews and Oil companies provoked that war.

"Iran's currency traded at a fresh record-low of 119,000 to the dollar on Tuesday, a loss of nearly two-thirds of its value since the start of the year as US sanctions loom.

The Iranian rial has been crashing in recent days as the country anxiously awaits the re-imposition of full US sanctions, starting on August 6.

It hit 100,000 to the dollar for the first time on Sunday and continued its decline, losing 18 percent of its value in less than two days.

On January 1, the dollar was worth 42,900 rials.

The government has been in crisis mode, replacing its central bank chief last week.

The central bank issued a statement on Monday, blaming the currency volatility on the "enemies' conspiracy" and vowing fresh counter-measures "in the coming days".

It was nice of Iran to give President Trump credit for their economy's collapse the way they did.

Why is this good for the US again?

I hear the AP wardrums beating. I don't like that.

No, the US does not need to beat down on Iran.

It is good for the US because
- Their collapsing economy means less $$ to go time their nuclear ambitions

- The collapsing economy could help the people rise up against the govt again

No, the US does not need to beat down on Iran -- the mere expectation of sanctions without actually doing anything has their economy tanking.

We will very soon have a world where the newest recruits into the US military were not born when we deployed troops to Afghanistan in 2001.
Nearly an entire generation of conflict and terrorism is still around.

Despite what Barry declared to the world, the 'War On Terror' is NOT over.

Allow me to clarify.....

By demonstrating his loyalty to terrorists / Islamic Extremism for 8 years (helping Muslim Brotherhood take over Egypt, 2 Un-Constitutional Wars to help Al Qaeda - who slaughtered 3,000 Americans - and ISIS, by giving a special visa to a terrorist only to have her murder 7 in Ca in a terrorist attack, financing / supplying / arming / training / defending / protecting / etc terrorists, allowing attacks on Americans resulting in loss of American lives - Boston Marathon / Ft Hood / Ca attack / Benghazi, etc...) Barry declared to the world HE was not at war with terrorists anymore.

There was a terrorist attack against the United States EVERY year under Obama.

'Evil' has existed since the time of the Garden of Eden, then in the form of a serpent, and it is still around today.

HISTORY (Yes, you can learn from history) shows the Islamic Extremists are extremely patient, willing to wait as long as it takes for the perfect opportunity, and - unlike Americans - they have an attention span / memory far longer than that of a goldfish. They are like water on stone, constantly flowing - even if at a trickle, constantly eroding / wearing the stone down.

Vigilance should never be abandoned as evil, like water, never ceases, always seeking the path of least resistance. Not to be overly dramatic, which I do not think saying this is - as, again, proven by history, but right now - at this very minute - there are Islamic Extremists plotting, scheming, and trying to come up with a plan to inflict as much death and destruction on you and your fellow Americans as possible.

IMO, there will NOT be an American born in a world where there is NOT an on-going war with Islamic Extremists / terrorists in your and my lifetime...if ever from this point on.

Could you imagine the settlers of the west going through the same conversation and mathematics in their head circa 1780?

Yeah, we've been Empire-Building for a long time. Americans just need to start thinking about how they'd react to another country forcing 'Regime Change' on them. We need to get back to adhering to the Golden Rule. 'Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.' If we got back to respecting the Golden Rule, we likely would stop meddling in every nations' affairs. We would ditch the Regime Change policy. We'd come home.
