Former CIA director R. James Woolsey Jr., a veteran of four presidential administrations and one of the nation’s leading intelligence experts, resigned Thursday from President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team because of growing tensions over Trump’s vision for intelligence agencies.


Woolsey’s resignation as a Trump senior adviser comes amid frustrations over the incoming administration’s national security plans and Trump’s public comments undermining the intelligence community.

The CIA has run roughshod since 1945, engaging in covert operations to overthrow democratically elected governments all over the world. Trump wants to put a stop to this meddling, and so the CIA wants to delegitimize him and maybe even overthrow him. They will use all the tools against Trump that they have used so many times before, including propaganda, bribes, whispering campaigns, leaks to the media, etc. What Trump needs to do is purge the agency and maybe even abolish it, if only to save his Presidency.
